GRAMMAR
Good morning folks!
Today we are going
to learn grammar. This time is pretty easy…
You can find it
explained on pages 83 and 125.
NEEDN’T
(NEED+NOT): There is no
necessity to do something. Traducido sería como “NO ES NECESARIO”. For example:
“You needn’t to finish your homework today”
HAVE TO: you need to do it. Traducido sería como “TIENES
QUE” “It’s Sunday, you have to finish your homework”.
SHOULD/OUGHT TO: they have similar meanings. Traducido
sería “DEBERÍAS”. Ought to es más formal y se usa menos. “You should study”. Se
usa para aconsejar.
MUST/MUSTN’T: to talk about rules and strong advice.
Traducido sería “DEBES/NO DEBES”. La diferencia entre must y should es que must
es más serio. “You should study” (deberías estudiar) “You must study” (DEBES
estudiar). Es más una obligación.
