TAG QUESTIONS

Today, we are going to learn how to use TAG QUESTIONS.

En español: esto es muy sencillo. Te puedes encontrar dos casos: que haya verbo auxiliar (BE, HAVE, CAN, SHOULD…) en cuyo caso….

1.    Tienes que fijarte en la primera parte de la frase y ver qué verbo hay y si es afirmativa o negativa.

2.    A continuación, coges ese verbo y LO CAMBIAS, es decir, si estaba en afirmativa, lo pones en negativa. “I should call my mom, shouldn’t I?”

O, que no haya verbo auxiliar y sean verbos como el to be, do, does, did…

Ejemplo: “She played all the afternoon, didn’t she?” (esto es así porque está en PASADO).

SI ESTA EN PRESENTE USAS: DO/DON’T. SI ESTÁ EN PASADO USAS DID/DIDN’T
